Cultivating a just, thriving and regenerative food system for all in Northwest Indiana

Region Roots is a mission-driven, non-profit local food hub operated by the
NWI Food Council since 2021. We serve to connect small scale and underserved farmers
with wholesale market opportunities and resources.

Your journey to fresh food begins here.

How it works:

  1. Buyers place orders from multiple local farms online

  2. Producers harvest the orders from the field

  3. Region Roots picks up freshly harvested food from farms and artisan food makers

  4. Fresh local food is delivered directly to the business, school or institution

  5. Repeat weekly!

I am a producer

I am a farmer, rancher or artisan food business looking to sell my locally produced products.

I am a buyer

I am a farm, business, institution or non-profit looking to purchase bulk, fresh local food.

We champion local food as a critical path to a more resilient region for generations to come.

We are committed to providing high-quality, healthy, and safe products for our customers. We uphold strict standards for all the products we supply, ensuring they comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as meet all standards for quality, food safety, packaging, grading, and labeling.
