Yaggy Road Roasting

Valparaiso, IN

Yaggy Road Roasting Co was born in a dorm room in 2016. In the beginning, they never made a plan or intended to create a business, it was just three guys in a dorm room who loved sharing a cup of coffee with whoever was around. We like to say that Yaggy Road was built by the community that was around us. They were surrounded by great people who loved great coffee and the more interest we received, the more they got into roasting coffee. As they began to learn more and more about coffee, they became aware of some of the serious problems it causes for the communities that grow it—both humanitarian and environmental. They love coffee, but hate the ways that it has been destructive to many of the coffee growing regions of the world. Through this frustration with coffee’s harmful impacts, the Yaggy Mission was born.
